Upcoming Legislative Forum
King County's Annual Legislative Forum is coming up on Thursday, November 19, 2026 and we wanted to tell you a little bit more about it.
This event will bring people together to discuss issues affecting people with I/DD (intellectual and developmental disabilities).
Why attend? The forum will share King County's legislative priorities and give community members a chance to hear directly from people affected by I/DD policy. It is an opportunity to get involved in the community.
For some, it can also be an opportunity to connect with others working on similar issues.
Who will attend? This event will bring together legislators, families, advocates and self-advocates, service providers and other community members.
How can I attend? Parking is available at the venue, but Metro shuttles will also be available.
When and where? The event will take place Thursday, November 19, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM, at the DoubleTree Suites Tukwila, located at 16500 Southcenter Parkway, Tukwila, WA 98188
