Update 9/8/2026 : Unfortunately, due to low registration, the 2026 event has been cancelled. Registration is now open for the Snoqualmie Challenge Race! Our Gravity Cars will allow those with developmental disabilities to experience the thrill of riding a soap box derby-type car while piloted by a driver who is 10 years old or older. When is the Event? The 2026 race is on Saturday, September 12, 2026 What time is the Event? The event will go from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Who Runs the Event? This family fun event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Snoqualmie. DirtFish Rally School and Encompass are also partners! How Do I Register? Earlier today we were honored to be included during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Issaquah Trailhead Apartment complex, formerly the TOD Project. LEO Staff and Board Members at the site of the Trailhead Apartment project The Trailhead Project represents years of planning, collaboration, and dedication, and we are proud to join our partners in celebrating this important milestone as the project enters the construction phase. We look forward to welcoming new residents to their homes in approximately two years and to seeing the positive impact this community will have for years to come. Interested in living at Trailhead? While we're excited to celebrate this milestone, the community is still in the early stages of construction. We are not yet accepting applications for residency. As the anticipated completion date approaches, we will announce when the application process opens and provide additional information about eligibility, timelines, and how to apply. We encourage interested individuals and families to check back for updates as construction progresses. Life Enrichment Options is honored to have been granted 6 units at the upcoming Trailhead Project along Newport Way in Issaquah (originally titled TOD, or Transit Oriented Development). The project will include affordable housing and commercial space for medical and behavioral medical services. If you're familiar with Issaquah, it will be along Newport Way in the former Qwest Building that neighbors the Issaquah Transit Center. The 2026 King County Resource Fair will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026 ! This year's fair has a new location, the Microsoft Conference Center at 16070 NE 36th Way, Redmond, WA 98052 . This is a free event, but participants should still register at the King County website . From the King County website; "This is a free community event that welcomes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays, their families, caregivers, service providers, teachers, employers, and other interested community members." Over 100 exhibitors 8 presentations in spoken English and American Sign Language Resources for people of all ages Early childhood supports Transition age resources, School-to-Work Employment and community inclusion College and continuing education System navigation Peer supports Technology and recreation Benefits, health, and housing  LEO is looking forward to seeing everyone at the event!

Intake assessments  July August We'll work with you to determine if our program is a good fit for your needs.
